help, how exactly does the demo work? I already downloaded, extracted and clicked the .exe which is said by Windows as unsafe but I run it anyway but nothing comes up?
You may see an "unsafe" warning when running software without a certificate. We downloaded and tested it on our Windows machine and it worked fine, so it's a bit tricky to pinpoint the exact cause.
Here are some common solutions that might help:
(1) Try deleting the game files you downloaded earlier, and then re-downloading the entire game. This will ensure that you have a clean copy and eliminate any possible file corruption issues.
(2) Double check that the downloaded files have been fully extracted from any ZIP folders. EXE files usually won't run directly from a compressed archive.
If you are still experiencing problems, we recommend that you try the web version (browser version) of the software. We have received 0 reports of the Web Version failing to run.
Oh how exciting~ I stopped at the at the first node to choose a route because everyone looks so tasty.
The voice acting is quite sparkling, and I love the style choice for the backgrounds. A very watercolor world, with dreamy palettes. Makes the characters pop more ^^
A wonderful hook, alluring individuals, music to bop to! The vibes are immaculate and clean so clean to hit directly at hearts. Can I just ask, is Robin a potential romance path down the line?
The art took a lot of its inspirations from the original work "Softly, With Teeth". We loved the art direction of the original game so much!
Our game script is all done, and the six romanceable characters introduced on this page are the only ones we have. But we do want to say that we all love Robin! 🤗
Also ah, that makes a lot of sense and I will make sure to check that out as well. Genuinely really sweet to see art inspire further art and that's the community building you love to see. Nerdery to the 11th power!!
Appreciate the insight into the process, and thanks for answering so respectfully. I was mainly curious, and didn't think about how that could have some negative implications. Suffice it to say, I am incredibly blown away at the opulence and choices of cake at this feast! Still trying to figure out the order to take but I will definitely have words to say in a later review. Happy to celebrate this entry in the game jam!
